C. J. Prevost Insurance Agency was established by Clarence “C.J.” Prevost in March of 1954. In 1985, he retired and his son Carlton J. Prevost served as President until 2004. Jimmy Prevost succeeded Carlton and became our third President, until 2024. Jena Bordes succeeded Jimmy Prevost and became our fourth President.
The office was originally located in the home of C.J. Prevost until the 60’s, where he relocated behind Koury’s Jewelry Store. Carlton Prevost acquired the land at the current location in 1974 and built the original building. Jimmy Prevost added to the building in 2007 to meet the growing needs of the agency.
C. J. Prevost Insurance Agency has proudly served the Rayne and surrounding areas, and continues to strive to strengthen customer satisfaction with friendly and courteous service.
The agency is currently owned and operated by Jena Bordes and Dawn Morgan, who are the granddaughters of C.J. Prevost. With the help of a dedicated staff, we will continue to grow and serve our community.
